Conflict Minerals Policy Statement
AUTO CS ENGINEERING (ACSE) is deeply concerned by reports that profits from the sale of certain metals mined in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) or adjoining countries have helped fuel war and human rights violations in eastern Congo.
ACSE supports efforts to eliminate the use of tantalum, tin, tungsten, gold (3TG), cobalt, and mica from improper sources that could contribute to such serious problems in the DRC and adjoining countries.
As tracing methods evolve, we are incorporating appropriate and proven methods into our program, along with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Due Diligence Guidance, to help ensure conformity in all material respects with the established framework.
ACSE requires suppliers whose products contain 3TG, cobalt, or mica to submit the required information by completing the provided survey, which traces these metals back through the supply chain.
ACSE’s objective is to achieve a conflict-free supply chain. If ACSE becomes aware of a supplier whose supply chain includes metals sourced from conflict-affected areas, ACSE will take appropriate actions to remedy the situation in a timely manner, including reassessment of supplier relationships, to achieve this objective.
ACSE expects its suppliers to take similar measures with their own suppliers to ensure alignment throughout the entire supply chain.
FRAUD POLICY
ACSE’s Fraud Policy
The Company does not tolerate any form of fraudulent or corrupt activity, even if such activity would be for the Company’s benefit. Any fraudulent transactions or corrupt payments are strictly prohibited, whether made by employees of the Company or by any third parties acting on behalf of the Company, including suppliers, distributors, agents, consultants, and contractors. This prohibition also applies to subcontractors or consultants engaged by third parties to perform work on behalf of the Company.
The Company shall strictly adhere to its Business Principles and the ACSE Code of Conduct.
